Born in Long Beach, CA and raised around music (his dad was a professional musician), Biggz moved to Vancouver, WA young and caught the entertainment bug early. Breakdancing at recess, reciting raps, lip sync contests, whatever it took to get people laughing and having a good time. Still the life of the party at any gathering.
In 1988 he got the chance to DJ his Jr. High school dance and took full advantage. By the end of that year he was running school dances, house parties and events, all before his freshman year. Through high school he ran his own mobile DJ company, Sounds Of Magic Mobile DJ's.
In 1997 he took over managing a local underage nightclub and stepped into the promoter game. That November he founded Three 6 Oh Productions and its street team, which grew into a nationally recognized promotion powerhouse working for Interscope, Arista, WB, LaFace, Virgin and more, across the West Coast, Las Vegas and Vancouver B.C.
In 1999 he and DJ Saint started FunkShop DJ's with a few of the region's top DJs, a crew known by labels and artists for breaking records and putting new music in front of the people. In 2010 he was crowned King Of The Decks, beating 25+ DJs through qualifiers, semis and finals in the Wreck The Decks summer series.
He's opened for Mixmaster Mike at Portland's Whiskey Lounge and DJ'd alongside some of the biggest names in hip hop and R&B, and he knows exactly what it takes to rock any room, from a nightclub to a wedding, a corporate event to a house party. These days you'll also catch him hosting live streams and podcasts, and building The 'Couve Uncensored, Clark County's local business directory.
DJ Biggz is not here today and gone tomorrow. DJ Biggz is here to stay.
